(June 27, 2024 / 7pm) JPS teams are continuing to address outages in some sections of the island, which lost power due to the effect of unusually high winds. Teams are making every effort to restore as many customers as possible and will be working through the night in most affected parishes, including St. Andrew, St. James, Clarendon, Manchester and St. Mary. It is likely however, that despite these efforts, some customers will remain without power supply overnight.
